Do you want to ride in my beautiful balloon?

Callaway Gardens is having their annual Labor Day Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival this weekend. Villa Rica’s hot air balloon festival is better, but hey! they can’t all be in Villa Rica.

They’ll have music, exhibits, ballooning demos and hot air balloon packages that you can purchase.  Yep that’s right, all those colorful balloons that will fill the sky over Callaway Gardens (which is totally beautiful) can take you up for a float.

You can buy vacation packages that include accommodations, admission into the gardens, balloon rides as well as meal and activities vouchers. Or, since it only takes about an hour and a half to get there, you can go down just for the day and look at the balloons as they float over Robin Lake Beach.  It makes for a great daytrip or a romantic evening (hint-hint fellas) when the balloons float alit in the night sky.
